Description

Alfalfa is an natural fix for nitrogen issues in your garden. Alfalfa produces essential vitamins and minerals that benefits cannabis plants through the entire grow cycle. It also increases water penetration and retention. Alfalfa brings essential vitamins and minerals, including all the B vitamins, A,D,E,K and biotin to your outdoor cannabis plants. It is an ideal companion plant for cannabis which fixes nitrogen problems and accumulates iron, magnesium, potassium and phosphorous. It produces deep roots that help break up the soil, increasing water penetration and retention, resulting in slower evaporation.

A tea steeped from the dry stalks makes a natural tonic that stimulates growth in cannabis plants. Alfalfa is a natural deterrent for lygus bug. It is also a great way method for attracting beneficial insects like ladybugs, assassin beetles and several predatory wasps that help protect your cannabis plants. If left un-maintained, Alfalfa can grow up to a meter tall, so it is best to regularly prune them, throwing the trimmings in your compost bin. Alfalfa is a mineral-rich addition to any compost heap
